Six killed in Bolan search operation, two in Dera Bugti landmine


BOLAN/DERA BUGTI: Six persons were killed during a search operation in Bolan district of Balochistan, while two fell prey to a landmine in Dera Bugti, Geo News reported on Saturday. Bolan Deputy Commissioner, Abdul Waheed Shah said thirteen persons were abducted from a coach on way to upcountry and shot dead four days ago in Mach and after this gruesome incident levies and security forces launched a search operation at Gashtari in Macc. During the operation armed persons started firing at forces that led tp a shootout in which six armed persons were killed huge arms cache was recovered. In another incident, a local leader Zeray Khan’s vehicle hit a landmine planted at the roadside in Patokh in district Dera Bugti of Balochistan, which resulted in the death of Zeray Khan, while his two guards were injured. In yet another incident of firing by unknown persons in Dera Bugti city one person was killed and one wounded.
