MONTREAL, Quebec: Rafael Nadal defeated Australian Marinko Matosevic 6-2, 6-4 on Friday to set up a ATP Montreal Masters semi-final with Novak Djokovic. Nadal was untroubled by his opponent from the qualifying rounds, advancing in just over an hour and a quarter. The champion in 2005 and 2008 has now won a ATP Tour-best 46 matches this season against just three defeats. He and Djokovic will be playing for the 36th time, with the Spaniard leading 20-15. (AFP)
