Death toll rises to 19 in Argentina building blast

BUENOS AIRES: The discovery of a woman's body raises the death toll to 19 in a blast that leveled an apartment building in Argentina last week, an official said Monday. Leonardo Caruana, health minister for the city of Rosario, said that two people still remain missing in the accident that destroyed the building after a gas leak. Dozens of rescue workers continued searching Monday for survivors among the rubble of the 60-unit complex that housed 238 people in the heart of the city. Rosario is home to 1.1 million people and is located 300 kilometers (180 miles) north of Buenos Aires. It is Argentina's main port for farm exports.
