Unprovoked Indian firing continues at LoC


MUZAFFARABAD: Indian security forces continued to violate the ceasefire at the Line of Control (LoC) as they resorted to unprovoked firing and mortar shelling on the night between Tuesday and Wednesday. Assistant Commissioner Kotli Dr Azam said Indian troops started firing at 9:00PM on Tuesday. The Indian forces resorted to firing with small arms in Khoi Rata and Nakyal sector, while they used heavy weapons in Goi sector. They also used mortar shell and opened unprovoked firing in Mandol, Kakota, Tetrinot and Donga Ghamir of Batal sector. Unprovoked Indian firing and mortar shelling created panic among the resident, however, no loss of life has been reported. Pakistan army retaliated in befitting manner.
